: The Argentine legal system is part of the constitutional paradigm. In this case, the gender perspective is an essential condition to make a legal correct interpretation because its postulates influence any notion and course of legal action. On this matter, I assume a theoretical foundation of the gender theory and I recommend a decalogue of interpretative standards which receive its vision.

The results of a phytosociological investigation about a coastal area of S. Sicily, close to Gela, are presented. The coexistence of several lithological substrata, as well as the particular climatic conditions of this area, gives rise to a noteworthy floristic and vegetational biodiversity. As matter of fact, a set of N. African species are here localized, taking part to peculiar vegetation types, sometimes exclusive of this sicilian coast-stretch. In-beam study of the 128, 130Xe nuclei

Abstract The level structure of 128,130Xe has been studied in the (α, 2nγ) and (3He, 3nγ) reactions on enriched Te targets using in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic methods. For both nuclei the existing information about positive-parity level structure was enriched and many new negative-parity two-quasiparticle states were observed. Isomeric states with the half-lives of 63 ± 12 ns in 128 Xe and 4.8 ± 0.5 ns in 130 Xe were found. For collective positive-parity states the interacting boson model, and calculations based on Bohr hamiltonian were compared with the experimental data.

We consider rotationally symmetric p-harmonic maps from the unit disk D2⊂R2 to the unit sphere S2⊂R3, subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions and with 1<p<∞. We show that the associated energy functional admits a unique minimizer which is of class C∞ in the interior and C1 up to the boundary. We also show that there exist infinitely many global solutions to the associated Euler–Lagrange equation and we completely characterize them.

Abstract The interaction of PtCl42− with the new azaparacyclophane 2,5,8,11-tetraaza[12]paracyclophane (L2) has been studied by 1H, 13C and 195Pt NMR spectroscopy. Three different complexes are detected as a function of pH, all of them presenting cis-arrangement of nitrogen donors and chloride anions. In the first one, formed at acidic pH, the central nitrogen atoms of the macrocyclic are coordinating to Pt(II) while the benzylic nitrogens remain protonated. Deprotonation of these nitrogens brings about a reorganisation of the complex, and the platinum is then coordinated by one benzylic nitrogen and the consecutive nitrogen in the macrocycle. A Domain Imbedding Method with Distributed Lagrange Multipliers for Acoustic Scattering Problems

The numerical computation of acoustic scattering by bounded twodimensional obstacles is considered. A domain imbedding method with Lagrange multipliers is introduced for the solution of the Helmholtz equation with a second-order absorbing boundary condition. Distributed Lagrange multipliers are used to enforce the Dirichlet boundary condition on the scatterer. The saddle-point problem arising from the conforming finite element discretization is iteratively solved by the GMRES method with a block triangular preconditioner. Numerical experiments are performed with a disc and a semi-open cavity as scatterers.

We prove that if a.n open Non Uniform Rational B-Spline curve of order k has a singular point, then it belongs to both curves of order k - 1 defined in the k - 2 step of the de Boor algorithm. Moreover, both curves are tangent at the singular point.

A new method for creating sparse design velocity fields

We present a novel method for the computation of mesh node sensitivities with respect to the boundary node movement. The sensitivity field is sparse in a sense that movement of each boundary node affects only given amount of inner mesh nodes, which can result in considerable savings in the storage space. The method needs minimal control from the user, and it does not place any restrictions (such as block structure) on the mesh. Use of the method is demonstrated with a shape optimization problem using CAD-free parametrization.
